Applet
Demonstrations
Another feature of PEERNET Reports for J2EE is the embeddable Java Applet that allows for the automation of previewing and printing reports or labels on a client machine through a web browser.
Note that this requires a web browser to be running Sun's JDK 1.4.2 plug-in or higher; it will not run under Microsoft
JVM.
There are two ways this applet can be used. The first way allows you to both preview and print a report or label. The form below allows you to see how this feature works; type the desired information into the Name and Company fields, then click the Preview button. A report will be generated and previewed in the applet below. You can then print the generated report by clicking the Print button.
The second way to use this applet allows you to print a report or label without first previewing it (with or without prompting from a printer dialog box). The form below allows you to see how this feature works; type the desired information into the Name and Company fields, then click the Print... (a printer dialog box will appear) or Print (no printer dialog box will appear) button.
